About Us

Our Chef and Staff

Our cozy, quaint, family run restaurant has been open for 12 years.  Actually, the first four years, we were just a tavern - "buy a bar they said" . . . "it will be fun they said" . . . needless to say, we are now focused on the food side of the business.  

We offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere with amazing food, drinks, and customer service.  We pride ourselves on cleanliness, quality of food, and making our customers feel that they are a priority.  

Another priority for us, is the consistency and quality of our food.  That is ensured by our Head Chef/Co-Owner, Ian, and our amazing kitchen staff.

Our Restaurant Manager, daughter-extraordinaire, is Ally.  She of course works hand-in-hand with our wonderful servers and kitchen staff, to ensure that your Tugboat Tavern experience is a memorable one.  

And now we have Kathy, popping in everywhere and anywhere (Co-Owner, Married to Ian, Mother of Ally, Adopted Mom to the remainder of the Staff, Mother of Dragons, Fixer of Chains, Kicker of Asses), you never quite now where she'll end up, serving, bartending, hosting, working in the kitchen . . . you just never know.

Special Events and Catering

Our restaurant is available for smaller (40 or Less) private parties, weddings, business dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event. 

Seasonal and Local

Our food quality is so very important to us and we are very selective on our food ingredients.  Additionally, five out of our nine craft draft beers, are brewed in New York State.
